Open Late to 8 on Wednesday

Come to the Robert Hull Fleming Museum for the inauguration of their new extended hours program, "Open Late to 8 on Wednesday". For this Wednesday, the Fleming is presenting a series of poetry readings with music in the Fleming's new coffee lounge, organized by UVM's celebrated young poet Major Jackson and co-sponsored by UVM's Department of English.

Presentation: Kat Clear

Vermont sculptor Kat Clear's newest work Queen City Crown will be presented in Burlington Town Center's Center Court. Queen City Crown was inspired by Burlington's strong roots in commerce and culture, and is adorned with antique maple taps and arches representing the rolling hills of the Green Mountains. Hand blown glass incorporates the colors of Vermont's natural beauty and the silhouettes of Burlington architecture convey local culture.
