First Friday Art Walk January 5th, 5-8PM It’s a month of hibernation for some art venues in Burlington, but many others are roaring to life. 215 College Street wraps up a group show of their artists from their very successful first year. Perennial local favorite Katharine Monstream’s oils and watercolors are at Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center. Down in the South End, E1 Studio Collective challenged artists to make art using one pound of pasta. You can see the results at their space. And don’t miss the show at VCAM where Peter Fried, Carol Norton, Maria Chomentowski, Jane Horner, and J.A. Davis all have work up. Head to the Waterfront for Carol MacDonald and friends at the Art's Alive Gallery . Pick up your copy of Art Map Burlington, First Friday Art Walk’s official publication, and your guide to art in Burlington to see a list of participating venues. Got questions? Call 802-264-4839 or send email to info@artmapburlington.com. MORE>>>> |
