Art Map Burlington and Art’s Alive invite artists in participate in the 2008 edition of First Fifty, February 1-29.

Submission
To be accepted and participate, you must complete the following three steps:

Step One
Before January 16th, register by sending an email with your name, mailing address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email to firstfifty@artmapburlington.com. You must include all of this information. The subject of the email should be: FIRST FIFTY.

Step Two
Attend the Burlington Artist Meet-up on January 17th from 6:30-8:30PM at Kasini House, 64 North Street in Burlington. The first fifty artists we draw will be in. (We will also draw alternates.) You must be present when your name is drawn. CLICK HERE...to visit the Burlington Artist Meet-up website.

Step Three
Deliver one piece of artwork to the Art’s Alive Gallery at Union Station on Saturday, January 26th from Noon-6PM and on Sunday, January 27th from Noon-5PM. If all work has not been delivered by then, we will contact alternates about delivering work on Monday.

An opening reception will be held 5-8PM on Friday, February 1st as part of First Friday Art Walk. The exhibition will run from February 1st to February 29th.

 

Other Details
Work must be for sale. Work must be ready to install. Art’s Alive will take a 25% commission on work sold.
