Studio Space at Kasini House
Be part of the Old North End's newest and most dynamic art center. Kasini House rents studio space to working artists. Studios are unfurnished. All utilities and wireless internet are included as is a page on Kasini House's website, participation in First Friday Art Walk, and a monthly listing in Art Map Burlington. Studios are $300 per month, minimum three month commitment. To apply, send an email to info@kasinihouse.com.

Q: So what's this Burlington Artist Meet-up thing all about?
A: One of the topics that came out of the Art Town Meeting held in February 2006 was the need for artists to meet and network informally. We decided this would be a good place to start.
Q. What's gonna happen at the meet-up?
A. The meet-up is informal. People will arrive around 6:30PM. Folks will make announcements around 7:15PM. There will be coffee and cookies. If you have something to promote, you will be invited to do so. We will have a pile of gallery cards for people to take. If you are working on a project and need some help, come and talk about it. If you're wondering where you can exhibit your work, come and ask.
Q. I don't know if I am an artist, should I go?
A. Yes. The event is open to everyone and an opportunity to meet people in Burlington's art community.
Q. I need to talk to someone before I decide to go. Who should I call?
A. Call Ric at 802-264-4839.
Q. Bummer, I can't make this one. Will it happen again?
A. Yes. Every Third Thursday.
Q. Why are you doing this?
A. Burlington has a lot going for it. By coming together, we think we can make a stronger art community and Burlington a more workable, liveable place for artists.
Q. Is the Meet-up always in the same place?
A. No, the Meet-up moves around to different art venues.
