28. Kasini House Exhibition-Through May 24th: Jolene Garanzha’s watercolor portraits of Vermont women she made while in residence at Kasini House during February and March. Reception and catalogue release, Saturday, May 10th, 2-4PM. Exhibition-Opening May 22nd, Colinpatrick Charles’ Water Atlas, an installation and ink on paper drawings of a fictional world overwhelmed by water rendered in a style that blends 16th and 18th century etching with contemporary comic book drafting. In the studios: stoneworker Jason Nocie. In ArtShop: Ethan Murrow’s new book of drawings and Yann Novak’s sound recordings, including one made at Kasini House last August. Kasini House Artshop sells small art products: books, folios, catalogues, monographs, chapbooks, ‘zines, small one-of-a-kind works, multiples, and other creative endeavors by contemporary working artists. Kasini House is open for First Friday Art Walk and Wednesday-Friday, Noon-6PM, and Saturday 10AM-4PM. |
